What could be the problem - my printer jams after each page. It either jams in the front cover or from the paper tray it just varies where the paper jam is. Also on the 2nd page before it jams it makes this loud roaring noise. Then in the process of reprinting the 2nd page the printer shuts off and comes back on and goes thru the warming process. Any advice of what could be wrong. Thanks

I would guess any one of several big or small problems:

-broken, loose or derailed belt

-gear striped on the shaft, gear with broken teeth or gears "hopped" out of synch

-electric clutch burned out, off anchor or disconnected

-broken cam or cam cage (this would be easy to see if true)

-small paper feed sensor arm (which drags over newly fed paper) broken, stuck or out of place. There are several of these (including one just above the paper tray). I experienced this with a damaged printer and replaced the arm with some common light steel wire wrapped partially around the shaft. It turns out this repair was totally adaquate.
