Phaser 850 has paper jams all the time

Help,

My phaser 850 jams every time from the main tray though it can print fine from the manual feed. The paper goes in about two inches and when I pull it out there are holes on the paper on both sides looking like slits where it ripped on the way out. Is this a paper tray problem or a pick roller problem. If so how can I fix it.

You probably have a bad paper guide, or one of the parts on the guide has come loose. The paper guide (pn 351-1032-00) is the black plastic piece with white plastic rollers. It sits at the front of the printer and right above the paper tray. I'd be happy to track one down for you.
