PHASER 850 CLEANING SHEET NEEDED-LOAD LETTER SIZE PAPER MESSAGE

phaser 850, at power on the display shows.CLEANING SHEET NEEDED-LOAD LETTER SIZE PAPER.
two lights power on light is green on top and the the other at the bottom is blinking red.
the tray is loaded with paper.any ideas?

pull out the tray and look at the right side. if you see three holes towards the front of the tray that is your problem. there should be a plug in the top hole. you can use a piece of cardstock and tape to fix it. just only cover the top hole. If that does not work let me know.

i found that if you drop the manual sheet feed, and set the slider to letter, and keep feed a sheet of paper in keeping it hard over to the left, it works like this too
