Hi,
A user here printed on transparent stickers, which I suspect melt a little, or more probably, the ink didn't stick properly to the media and left some residual ink spots on the drum.
I cleaned the drum, and when tried to pull the maintenance drawer noticed that a lot of ink had accumulated on the left side (the drawer wasn't full by any means).
I had to force it a little when pulling so that the solidified ink broke. I'd swear the maintenance drawer wasn't locked.
I cleaned every solidified ink particle inside, and when tried to re-insert the maintenance drawer, it seems to stuck in about the last centimenter of the path.
I checked xerox support and tried the 3 power cycling method, all doors closed, to no avail.
I checked the guides, etc and finally it inserted fine. I can't remember of doing anything special, just one of the 100 times I tried it entered completely without any pushing.
But after powering the printer again, and printing a cleaning sheet, I sent a job to the printer which stopped claiming "maintenance drawer is full".
I pulled it out again, and sure, it wasn't full. But now I cannot reinsert it back.
Here's a pic of a suspect area:
I'm not sure if that broken tab on the left guide is the problem, I cannot see how can it keep the maintenance drawer from sliding into place.
Here are some hi-res shots from the area:

any hints will be greatly appreciated. I can take more shots if anyone finds them useful for diagnosis.
