phaser 8400 wax coming off paper and sticking to drum

I am having a problem with my Phaser 8400. The wax keeps sticking to the fuser drum on the right side and tears off the documents coming through to the point there is an excessive amount of wax on the right edge of the drum. I have cleaned it and the waz stays on the drum. You then send another document through and it jams.

Either the drum pivot plate is broke (most likely) or the cams that move the plate are broke. If you remove the maintenance tray and look to the front of the printer if the plastic plate you see is white then it is one of the defective ones, if it is black then it is an updated plate.

Thanks very much. I see a little crack on my white plate. Where do I get a new (black) one?

Thanks, no to be honest I am not sure. ... plus, hopefully it comes with installation instructions -- I have almost ripped the printer apart trying to get to this part.
