Keeps rebooting when connected to network. Seems ok when at stand alone or when connected to PC using crossover cable. Any ideas?

Thanks for the info! Do you know why exactly this has to be done?

Thanks for the links. Are there any other possibilities that could cause this as the customer says these both (SLP and SSDP) have been disabled?

Check the fault codes. Ive seen error 13,008.47 cause the problem.

Hold the up and press the ok button. Scroll to fault codes and tell us what codes are there.

13,008.47 is present as well as 11,009.46, and 4,018.48.

13,008.47: The drum heater is too hot.
This would cause the printer to reboot trying to protect itself (and Xerox) from a possible fire.

The most common fix is to replace the drum asm.
Pt # 105115080 about $240.00

I recomend having a tech who is trained on this model change it as changing it is not a very simple task.

4,018.48: This fault code indicates a problem with the process control system. The printhead temperature dropped below the head cleaning needed threshold.

11,009.46: Communication timeout failure detected.
