Hi, my Problem is that my Phaser 790 is cleaning and cleaning and cleaning. Is prints two Pages (A4) - then the cleaning starts - then comes the next two pages an cleaning starts again. Is it a Sensor-Problem?

Thank for Help, Stefan (Germany)

I have a DC2006 with the same print engine and have noticed the same problem. I helped cure this problem by cleaning out the BTR2. These instructions are just suggestions from an amateur and are not warranted.
Open the front cover and move the lever to loosen the belt.Remove the copy cartridge.
Remove the fuser drawer and look into the back of the opening. At the front of the printer is a round chrome pin. Pull it to the back and remove the belt cleaner. Behind it is a plastic tray (BTR2 assembly). Pull it straight out. Empty the tray and clean the assembly. Look into the front where you removed the copy cartridge and vacuum out the waste delivery tube. Clean up any waste toner. Re-assemble everything. Make sure the belt cleaner assembly goes into the slot in the back of the printer and then engage the front pin. Install the copy cartridge last.
Hopefully, this works.
