I recently purchased a Phaser 7760 and so far pretty much has been plain sailing, except for one thing, the main reason i bought the printer... I have 100 MI laser transparency, it's actually sort of semi transparent, like a really high quality drafting paper to look at, it's cost is around €30 for 100 sheets, so it's not cheap rubbish but the printer just doesn't want to feed it, it goes in about 3 inches and wham paperjam. am i using the wrong setting? i phoned up the local xerox agent and they gave me a bunch of rubbish about it not being for laser printers, when it works fine on the uber cheap HP 3360 (only i have a lot of waste this way as i have to print 1 up on A4 instead of 3 up on A3) and also the print quality of that printer isn't exactly the best.

any suggestions?

The Xerox has an OHP Over Head Paper sensor, in the manual feeder.

If that sensor is happy with your transparencies, and you are using the right settings, it may work.

Buy one pack of the Xerox brand just as a control to test it.

will try that out, though I've seen them and they aren't really transparent at all, someone also told me about thin stickers you can stick at the top of the paper to trick the sensor, i guess that's the OHP you mentioned.
