phaser 7700 printing problem

the phaser 7700 is now printing a yellow band at the bottom of every page? Any ideas? I have replaced the print cartridges but this did not fix the problem. HELP PLEASE...I'm trying to meet a deadline.

Pull teh print cartidge out for yellow and look inside at teh developer assy and see if there seems to be an inordinate amount of toner in and around the assy. If this is teh case you may need to have the developer replaced. Also try swapping the print cartridges around to see if the problem follws them or stays with yellow.

I had the exact same problem and yes, I would agree with the rest that replacing developer will fix the issue. However, speaking of yellow, you gotta be carefull how u install that yellow developer or else u will receive replace yellow toner cartridge message even though it is brand new...and im currently stucked at this issue

If the yellow band is in the process direction (feed direction) then look at the lift jacks. Remove the right side cover and look inside at the cartridges, see if one end is higher than the other. I have fixed several this way, just reforming the bent jack.
