Phaser 740 - Jam At E 1

Hi,

I keep getting a "Jam at E" error message on my Phaser 740, even though I have thoroughly cleaned the printer. Is there a faulty sensor/switch/clutch that could be causing the problem?

I am having the same problem with my Phaser 560. I have cleaned the paper path through the printer as best as I can determine, yet I still get the Jam at E message.

Can anyone shed light on a solution for this?
