Were you able to figure this out. I am looking for the latest firmware also. I am currently trying to get our Phaser 740 to work with our new Netware 6 server. It took a firmware upgrade for our JetDirect cards to work, so I am hoping a firmware upgrade for the Phaser will fix our problem.
I never solved it. Xerox offered to send a technician out to replace the firmware for me. Glad I wasn't calling Charmin.
I guess I'm going to be OK until fall when the weather turns cold again and I start having problems. By then I should be able to replace this printer with a product from a new world company!
