I cannot explain it but the our printer prints this weird consecutive pieces of image.(See attached)

To fix the problem, the Cyan Imaging Unit and Toner needs to be re-seated.

Then it will print fine again.

Imaging Unit and Toner for Cyan has already been replaced.

The problem is deeper than just changing an imaging unit. Think back to the time when there was a last major paper jam before this problem with the image. Did someone remove the paper jam by pull out imaging units for all the color? And did they put them back properly before closing the door down on it. Be honest? Check the cyan image cradle for breakage of plastic in that area, if there no damage then its imaging board failing.

In the end you have to call Xerox and have them send out a technician when the printer finally died.

Cheers

Thank you for the reply.
I double checked the the cyan image cradle to see any physical damages and saw none.
Also checked the rest of the printer, also saw none.

The "reseating the cyan toner" was not my idea, but our users.
They believe it's what fixes the issue.

I unfortunately cannot recreate the issue.
An example:
The users submitted a work request on 12/10 about the printer.
Went there and saw the print out like what I attached on my first post.
I asked them to print it again for me but since they 'reseated the cyan toner' the problem has been "fixed".
A week passed with no problem and suddenly appeared again.

Again, when I got there, cannot re-create the issue.

I have contacted Xerox and gave me pricing(expensive)for sending a tech over.
Also considering weighing the cost and age of the printer, probably more cost effective to purchase a newer model.

Could just be dirty toner sensors, but yeah, dont beat a dead dog, buy a new one.
