Phaser 350 strange problem

I have a Phaser 350 that worked fine until now. Here is the problem. After turning it on it just displays "Tektronix V3.28" on the LCD, and never gets further. You can hear ther engine going through the usual warmup cycle, but the dusplay never says so, and the computer cannot talk to the printer either. The buttons do not work either. Any clues?
