I am using Netbackup Enterprise Server 5.0. I only need the phase 1 and 2 portion of the restore process for what I am doing. I was working on one machine and everything was working fine. Well we had a problem with that machine and I had to move to another. I set everything up the same way, put the same scsi card in that one, and the phase 2 imports fail every time with a "media read error." I have searched high and low for a solution. I have read many things about "block size issues" and have changed the registry settings for the maximum sg list. It still isn't working. Does anyone have any suggestions besides calling Symantec?? Thanks in advance.

phase 2 fails on new machine - block size issue???

Did you create the file SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS under ../netbackup/db/config with the same block size as the original ?
