I have a 11c that has 3 cabinents - totaling 30 cardslots, can I program phantoms on TN 31 0 in this case?

I don't believe the PBX will let you built up the phantom superloop to support those card slots.

On older option 11s you can build up superloops 64,68,72,76,80 to give you access to card slots 41-60

On newer option 11s you can build up superloops 96,100,104,108,112 to give you access to card slots 61-80.

(preceed the loop number with an "N" to denote Phantom)

Once you have the superloops built, then you can start building phantoms on the "card slots" mentioned above.

The best place to find the information is in the Call Pilot book under Switch Programming. It gives you the loops and associated card slots.

Just for everyones information, I just programmed a 500 on TN 31 0 and it worked, I could use it just like a phantom.

yes you can build a phone on any unused port and burn the lic, be careful i have added loops to a larger switch and had to rebuild 200+ phontoms that were built on a loop that was now needed.. if you add a cab, that analog will be in the way. the idea of a phomtom is to build a phone that will never need moving. i use maxp 1 acd instead of phontoms. i have i phontom in a switch of 6000 phones, it is used for flexable remote call forwarding.. just because the switch will allow a bad idea, doesn't make it the right or best way to program.. it will burn somewone later on
