I have setup a Phantom forward from a 500PH to a 3904 TN which works fine however if the 3904 does not pickup it just rings as does not go to the 3904's mailbox. However if you call the 3904's DN it goes to VM fine.

500PH DN (2854) Forwards to 3854
3904 DN 3854

I have also added both these DN's to the user VM box in CallPilot.

What am i missing ?

Thanks

Set the FDN on the Phantom. It should be the same FDN that is on the 3904 TN.

The FDN instructions are received from the originally dialed DN, which is the Phantom DN in your case.

I would work on turning MARP on some day, but for this, we can still get it going:

Still get SCH code even after adding FNA, full TN:

Looking at it should hunt be set to 8000 (Call Pilot) or the TN i am forwarding to ?

Thanks

Then you're not adding it correctly:

Let's say the FDN of the 3904 set was 6245 and you wanted to add that FDN to the phantom too:

CHG
TYPE: 500
MARP NOT ACTIVATED
TN 96 0 1 2
PHANTOM
ECHG yes
ITEM CLS FNA
ITEM FTR FDN 6245

Also, HUNT does not apply to Phantoms, since they are never busy.

Ok the FDN on the 3904 is 8000 (call Pilot route), however as soon as you hit the space key after typing FND on the phantom you get the SCH code so it is not even possible to enter a number.

Cheers

Then type the words EXACTLY as I wrote, don't pick your own mnemonics.

Excellent! :)

Remember, on analog/500 TNs, a variety of capabilities are stuck in the "FTR" section. You can see a list of them under "F" for FTR in the books with LD 10
