I hav a Partner Plus R2 and have extensions that for some reason start to ring non stop. It is as if they are possesed. Do you think it is the processor unit, the 206 units, or the extensions? DO I need to repleace any of the units?

What's common to the ringing phones? Are they all on the same card. Is it a particular line that is ringing on them? That will help narrow down your search.

I have a trouble call scheduled for tomorrow, where whenever a dialtone is connected to a particular CO port, the phones start ringing on that line, even though the line is idle. The Partner is seeing the -48VDC and causing the phones to ring. That will require replacing the module that the CO port is on.

You can try removing modules one at a time, repositioning then modules, swapping them around, etc. to find what is causing it.

I don't have any outside lines connected as of yet. I am testing the unit. When it rings its a continuous ring, not the ring pause ring pause of a normal ringing line.

its a common problem with MLS phones

replacing the flex circuit will cure it

its the flexible circuit board inside the phone printed on mylar

Yep, your flex circuits are smoked. Get em replaced or replace em yourself.
