Phantom Button

Have a customer that has a KXTD1232 with a TVS225 vmail.
The auto attendant answers all calls, when the customer dials "0" it rings Phantom extension number 8000. There are several people thta have a Phantom button that rings at their extension. (everyone answers the operator calls) I have one extension in particular that called me and said she could no longer answer those calls. She presses her button and it says button (while its ringing on the other phones) I have unprogrammed her button and reprogrammed it , swapped out phones, even changed ports. (although when I changed the ext. 8024 to a different port it started working for a few hours, then next day same thing. Only her ext. 8024 (they are all 80xx) and no matter what phone or port it is in. Any suggestions? Is there a limit on the number of extensions that have that button? Exact same programming as all other phones also. (C.O.S., buttons,etc.)
 
Check that the ring function is turned on for the actual key. After programming the key, press program and then the key, and then the key again. This will tell you if the ringer is turned on or off. You can change it from here too, but I can't remember off the top of my head. May be the auto ans button or 1 or 2 key.
 
Its set to ring like all the others, to get her by I just gave her a pick-up button instead for now. But all programming is EXACTLY the same as all the others that DO work. Wether I check via laptop or telephone programming.
I moved her port, tried different phones, etc. As soon as I do change ports then it takes but only stays for a few hours before it stops working.
