I have run into a problem I have not seen previously:
I have a query I am running off of a single table.
When I do a select query it runs fine, however, whenever I enter a search criteria, I get
"Invalid Bookmark"
Ideas?
This was created by someone previously.
It is Access97

Then only thing I can think of is to do a search on the code for the entire database to see if the programmer sets a bookmark anywhere. Hope it helps!!

FOUND IT!!!!!

There is a field in the input form formated
with "AAAAa\-A0;0;_".
Some how one of the entries managed to become corrupted
(just the one field)and each time the query with a specific criteria hit that entry....
BAM! Invalid Bookmark

So if anyone out there see something similiar, here is a place to start.

Also, the entry would not let me delete it. I had to run repair for the entry to go away. I tried using both query and code. After running each the entry would still be hanging around.

Later!
