PGP v7 & Windows 2000; PGPService fails to load

Can anyone help; WHen the process "PGPService" fails to start it gives the error message "Could not start PGPService service on local Computer Error 5: Access Denied". ANy one have a clue?

May be u have to uninstall it and it install again with
full administrative rights

Also checkup the new hot fixes on PGP's site

Check the registery to verify path to .exe, I bet dimes to dollars your load path is incorrect.

Sounds like a permissions issue. Admin rights may be needed.

Do NOT uninstall PGP! It will uninstall the TCP/IP stack which can not be manually reinstalled! Try taking PGPtray out of the start-up folder and only manually start PGPtray after boot-up.
