We have a vendor that is encrypting files with Gui version 7.0. We are unencrypting these files with command line 6.5.2. Some of the files are experienceing extra characters and/or carriage returns being added to the text files, causing a problem when we import them into our SQL server. Does anyone know of any compatability issues??

Thanks

I solved the problem by upgrading to Version 7.04. This version doesn't have command line, so I installed pgp e-business server over top. This allows batch files to be created in version 7.x.

When you say you installed pgp ebusiness server over top, does this mean that you purchased the eBusiness server license and installed it? I'm looking at my options for command line PGP for commercial use, I need to communicate with a PGP 6.5 eBusiness Server installation, and want to know if there are options for me other than eBusiness Server. It seems like there is no command line in PGP Desktop 7.X, but I may be wrong (as I'm a PGP novice). Any help or info would be appreciated.
