PGP and Outlook XP 3

I'm having a problem using PGP v8.0.0 and Outlook XP: the PGP icons (the shortcuts) to encrypt, sign etc etc are simply disappeared. I've reinstalled Outlook and PGP many times, but with the same result.

As far as I know this is due to the fact that Outlook XP does not accept plugins not signed by Microsoft.
Is this right or just a legend?
Is someone having the same problem?
Has someone solved this problem?

PGP won't support using Word as your e-mail editor. That could explain why you don't see the PGP icons in your toolbar. Go to Outlook's TOOLS | OPTIONS | Mail format page and uncheck "Use Word as your Mail Editor".

Interesting that you had mentioned that... because I was having a PGP plugin error where there was a conflict with Word. Now I know why... Thanks.
