Gents,

still strugling with my first install of IPOCC :(
I have created the excell sheet. when I try to dataimport.exe it doesn't work: database needs to be empty.
In the docs they speak about a backup.bat file in the directory utilities, but i have only a pgbackup? And all the commands with this doesn't function.

anyone who can give me a start on how to continue?

Thanks very much

Steve

Don't know what pgbackup would have to do with your problem.

As it says the problem is that you've entered something in the configuration before dataimport.
Either reinstall following the Installation Guide or enter all configuration manually.
In 9.1.8 you can use the web interface instead of dataimport to get the basic settings in place.

Janni78, thanks for your help...I have already installed everything from scratch. it should be empty. Can't make the backup, and if i read the docs they are mentioning Sybase...but I don't have that either. I'm stuck

There's no point in taking a backup of an empty system but pgbackup.bat is used for 9.1.x, Sybase was used in 9.0.x.

After installation you should go to the Web Administration page and set everything up, no need to use DataImport if you're on 9.1.6 and later.

What error you are getting when executing dataimport.exe
Could you please check logs files located on %TEMP% location of IPOCC server.

Well as far as I know of is good practice to make a backup of fresh new install.. and them program it to make a backup every day but don't override the previous one.
You're saying backup is not working: You have to use the Administrator user and the password that you have set up for the database!
