Ok,

So I have everything done except my public folders. I try and use the pfMigrate tool and recieve the following error:

Source Server :Source
Target Server: Target
WMI Server : Target

Report Mode in progress.

Analysis of 0 folders with replica on Source completed.

0 folders without Replica on Target
0 folders with replicas on both servers.

So what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

I used the script right off of the microsoft Exchange 2003 disk. I used the test line. I will have to look it up and let you know. It looks very similar to the script from your link.

Hello

Once you have installed exchange i assume that you have amended your AD connection agreements to point to the new server?

Once you have done this you should wait for AD replication to take place before using the pfmigrate tool to report on the number of folders. Otherwise there will be no replica folders found hence the message

Once replication has taken place run the pfmigration tool to report on the number of folders and it should specify the correct amount

Probably too late for these folks - but for anyone else reading this - I was getting the same thing. Had the CA pointing to the new server, and the exact same setup/config/install was working correctly on 3 out of 4 servers, but one server was giving me the 0 folders found.

I went to 5.5 admin tool and ran the "directory service" update and KCC (site, config, servers, 55 server name - right panel - "directory service" - properties - "update now" and "check now")
Waited ~5 minutes.

Ran the PFMigrate /R again and it showed the folders.

Ran the PFMigrate /A and it worked for all the folders.

Hope that works for you, too.
