you have to have external hotdesk licence to do this
You then create a hotdesk user and tick the external hotdesk option
you then add your mobile number
once completed you can then add the EDHU number in your PRG

Program a "handoff" key on your desk set.

how are you dialing?
are you trying to dial from an external line to your DDI line?
Also if you dial your EDHU number does it call your mobile?

so you need to take a look at your programming for your EDHU device
Have you set the correct Class of service options?
Hot Desk External User – Permanent Login Yes
Also in the user/device form have you added a outgoing dialling prefix?

class of service requires always logged in to be enabled in your scenario..

you need to enable this in the System Options form
It is at the bottom of the form
External Hot Desk - Single Digit Mid Call Features

SIP trunks require a different options to be in enabled in the SIP peer profile

Make sure that you follow the interop programming instruction for the telco providing the SIP trunks

you also have to make sure a receiver remains attached to the trunk for the duration of the call to support incall features. Not sure how to do that on SIP. On PRI I believe there was a circuit descriptor option or COS option that applied. You need to make sure you can pass dtmf back to the 3300 ( ie the digits you punch for the in call features )and that a receiver is there to accept the DTMF. Again not sure about the setup for SIP.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.
