I have installed personal oracle on my machine and cannot figure out the administrator, password and mangement service to enter. I have tried everything.

I have written everything down during installation but nothing seems to work

The standard ids and their default passwords are SYS (password CHANGE_ON_INSTALL) and SYSTEM (password MANAGER). The default database is usually ORCL. Try those and see if they work with personal Oracle.

There must be something wrong with my installation

These are the things I wrote down during installation
Global database name cosal.skipjack
SID cosal
SYS account password change_on_install
System account pasword = manager
service name = MSD.world
host MS-58906E

What I am trying to do right now is open the DBA studio

It asks for username,password,connect as
It gives service as msd.world as grey and cannot be updated

Any more suggestions??

I really appreciate your responses.
