Personal Ext & VM for Operator

Merlin Legend R7/MerlinMail operator extension is 10 and has VM class of service of 15 or 16 used for auto attendant.

Operator phone is MLX-20. Is there a way to create a personal extension for the operator, have it ring on an unassigned button and have personal voicemail for this extension.

You can renumber an adjunct to whatever extension you want to give the receptionist, put a coverage button for that new extension onto the unused button of the console and create vm for the new extension. Then if a call is transfered to that extension, it will ring on that coverage button before going to voicemail. The only issue is that you will not have a message waiting light for the new extension.

Is the system full auto attendant or live answer during the day?

Actually, you could config outcalling for the Adjunct's Mbox to light the light on the Operator's phone.
