Permissions to Universal Distribution LIst to Access Calendar

When I try to assign a universal DL read/write permissions to a calendar from Outlook 2000, I get the error:

"Modified permissions could not be saved. The client operation failed."

I can assign individual users but not the DL which contains all my users.

Hi Max,

do you have an mixed enviroment or an native (only w2k Ex2k)?

In the Migration Step the DL will become an Securety Group on the first access to an Public Folder.
In an native enviroment you can only set permissions with Securety Groups.

I tried using a security group with SMTP enabled for that group but I cannot see the security group in the Global Access List to give it permission.

How do I get the security group in the GAL?
