Permissions to print from Excel or Word

I am running W2k Advanced Server.&nbsp;&nbsp;Office 2000 is installed on the same machine.&nbsp;&nbsp;Members of the Printer Operators group can't print from Excel.&nbsp;&nbsp;The error message says There are no Printers installed.&nbsp;&nbsp;I can place the same user in the Administrators Group and she can print with no problems.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have given the Printer Operators group all of the permissions I can find that apply to printers and printing.&nbsp;&nbsp;The printer is an HP 720C and is a local printer.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In Excel, when the user is a member of the Printer Operators group, the File Menu drop down does not show the Most Recently Used (MRU) list.&nbsp;&nbsp;However, when she is a member of the Administrators group, the MRU list works as expected.<br>Any help will be appreciated.<br>--Lew Garrett<br><br>

Yes, Yes, and Yes.<br>I have a somewhat unorthodox arrangement.&nbsp;&nbsp;I have a classroom with 22 NT 4.0 workstations.&nbsp;&nbsp;They are networked to an NT 4.0 server.&nbsp;&nbsp;There is another machine running NT 4.0 server on the same network.&nbsp;&nbsp;There are no workstations directly subordinate to this second server.&nbsp;&nbsp;Both servers are PDCs of a domain.&nbsp;&nbsp;The second server is the only computer in its domain.&nbsp;&nbsp;The instructor's computer is running Windows 2000 Advanced server.&nbsp;&nbsp;It has two hard drives with applications on the second drive.&nbsp;&nbsp;I set it up this way in order to learn about the various systems and to work with the interconnections between servers.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I can,t find the permissions that control full access to the MS Office Apps.&nbsp;&nbsp;As I stated in my first message, if I place someone in the Administrators group, they have full control of the Office Apps, but in a lessor permissioned group, they do not have all funtionality.<br>--Lew Garrett<br>P.S.
