Hello everyone!
I have created a problem for myself (ass-usual), anyway this is the scenario.
I had a system on a network. i had attached an external HD this HD had different levels of permissions.
Now the HD is at home and I cannot access some folders (which where protected on purpose).
Is there a way to reset the permissions on this drive.
I have thought of creating a mock network and naming it the old network name from work and then joining it with another machine and then reset permissions, but, I want to know if there is a way around that. Please help dont want to reformat and lose everything that is protected. Thanks is advance.
