Hi,

bit of a weird problem on one of our file servers, - when trying to add a domain user to a local group, - from Computer Management, I select the local group, press Add, but the domain that I would like to select a user from is not listed in the tree?

Any ideas how to make my domain appear in this box?

The same occurs whether I am logged on locally or via the domain.

Thanks for any help

I had this problem with one of my workstations last week...I had to remove the workstation from the domain by manually changing the workstation from domain to workgroup...then reboot.

I then logged in locally as the admin and added it back to the domain and that solved the problem.

Thanks, - yes I think this is what i'll end up doing.

I can access all the appropriate domains when accessing the Computer Management console remotely via MMC

Cheers for the reply
