Permission Help Needed

Hello,

We're going through some changes here, and making our website more serious.

I want to have a public side and a private side.

At the moment, everyone who enters the site from the outside is getting prompted to enter their user name and password, and I don't want that to happen. Also, all of my images are being withheld.

Would really appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

Grant annoymous access to the site through the IIS console.

Yep I have the same problem too. Queston: on your 2003, its this a PDC or child domain or forest? I noticed, if you just setup you IIS6.0 at in a member server, then you wont get prompt for username and password.

Even, if you enabled anonymous login, it will still ask for password and username. This only if your server is PDC,or child domain.
