I know this is a dumb question, but how do you make the time and date stay displayed on the phones. Currently, you can push the corresponding button, and it will stay for a few seconds, but I have a user that wants it there until they choose to remove it.

Thanks!!

Sorry, the particular user is using an 8434dx.

In the 8400 series phones the 8434 is the only model that you can have the time, not time and date, stay up on the display. First, program a time/date button on the softkeys, then go to the phone, enter the menu, hold the time/date button for about 5 seconds, then exit out of the menu.

I could swear our 8410's would also do this, but it quit working a few months ago. (The CallMasters and 8434's still work, though.)

We're still using the same R8, G3si. Wonder if I broke it somehow? [ponder]
