permanent stored password to connect to AS400

Hi, I am setting up DTS packages to transfer data from an AS400 to SQL server. I have a User id and password that does not change. Does anyone know how I can set this up so that the password does not have to be input manually? I am using client access ODBC 32bit to connect to the AS400 but even when I store the user id and password in the connection it still asks me for the password.

Hi tammat,
When you create a source connection using iseries access Odbc driver, in the connection properties window you can specify the user the user id and the password. Once you you save the package and execute it, it will not require you to enter it again, unless the password expires.
