Hi,
not sure if i have to post here or in lotus forum.
I'm running lotus notes server (6.5.4) on redhat enterprise linux advanced server 3 upd 3.
Server has 2 cpu Intel(R) XEON(TM) MP CPU 1.90GHz, 3 gb ram and 8 gb ram on internal disks.
As I've already said on this system there's lotus notes running with its http server.
Lotus data are on an external storage (fastt) accessed with RDAC drivers and lotus archive data are on another storage, nas.
The problem is that on this system lotus often hangs. At that time I see 100% iowait: if I try to do an ls on the external data storage (fastt) command hangs.
I think there can be a problem with rdac driver maybe but I don't know how to be sure about this.
There are also performance problems (cpu and ram) on it. I think I need newer hardware because I see that cpu is much stressed and also ram:

What do you think about this?
The most cpu consuming processes are lotus notes related (http, server, update).
Unfortunately I know nothing about notes and rdac.
Please advice, thanks.
