Performance and tuning AIX ver 5.2

I could not find a redbook, but does anyone have information on tuning our ethernet for FTP and NFS.

We are seeing very slow times on our V5.2 puts but not on our gets. I was going to change some of the descriptor Queue parms for RX and TX... But not sure how to optmize or if it would even help...

The Transmit Queue size from our 4.3.3 systems match the Software Transmit size on our 5.2....

Any help or do you know of any reference manuals that may be of use?????

Read through that.... But some of the options and parms have changed in Ver5.2.

Our 4.3.3 system is already tuned, but now I need to do the same on our new servers.....

IBM has me locked out of Software support because someone forgot to enter the new systems we purchased in their database... We (paying a large amount of money) upgraded both hardware and software to 7-24-365 with 4hour response..... They refused to help me, saying I must go through the VAR we purchased it from.... Records show all the paperwork was submitted to IBM... I am very frustrated.

And you wonder why people are moving away from IBM.....
