I am so close to finishing my report but I'm totally stuck.

Here's what I've got.

ASSETClass Security MV % of Port
Equity Exxon 400,000 .40
Equity EMC 100,000 .10
Equity NOK 125,000 .12
Equity MRK 250,000 .35
Equity ibm 10,000 .02
totalEquity of top 5 mv= 885,000

The total Equity of this account is 2,000,000.
Q: I need to get the % of total equities which should be 885,000/2,000,000==4.425%. I can't get it.

Please help!!

If you use sum(table.MVfield} don't you get that amount available where you're using the current totalEquity of top 5 mv = 885,000 formula?

yes, but I need total market value of all equities not just the top 5. I get the 885, I need to get 885/200.

I think my response to your other post will help you with this. You should be suppressing the "other" (non-topN) group instances, not discarding them if you want to include their values in your calculations.
