I posted this to the PeopleSoft forum but there doesn't appear to be much activity in that forum - and the topic applies equally here. I want to export about 6 Employee fields (Emp#, LastName, FirstName, Dept, etc.) from a PeopleSoft HR package to an Access database. Does PeopleSoft have an export function? If so, can it be saved as a template so that it can be run whenever needed? And third, what export formats are available (textfile, dbf, Access, etc.)? Thanks. Note - I don't have PeopleSoft installed - I am trying to help an Access user at another location.

PeopleSoft is an Oracle based app. There should be volumns of info on how to create an Oracle DSN link with Access.

I have used PeopleSoft a couple of times and created a query which can be exported to an EXCEL spreadsheet. From there I import the EXCEL spreadsheet into ACCESS. There may be another way, but that was quick and easy.
