Penicillin Antivirus Blocks PC network?

Does anyone know if Penicillin Antivirus will stop a two-PC network from seeing each other? On the wireless laptop when going to my network neighborhood we can see the MSHOME but it only shows the PC it is on, not the desk PC on the other connectino through the router. I have checked everything I can think of - am trying to share the printed connected to the desk PC.

Antivirus itself is likely not the issue. Do you have any PC firewall? Windows XP firewall?
