Peer to Peer LAN VPN connection to 2K server

I have a small lan running a peer to peer with three workstations on it at one location all the workstations need to create a seperate VPN connection to the 2k server in a seperate city the problem is when the first compurter connects we have no problem but when the second and third connect the previous VPN connections loose mappings until they reconnect then it just becomes a vicious circle

How are the systems accessing the internet? Are they passing through a router? Perhaps the router is having trouble handling multiple outgoing VPN connections.
