PE 2300 locks on boot

We have a PE2300 which has decided to lock up after it gets to the System Backplane message. When we make any physical changes to the system ie remove a card, the system would boot properly, however, if we restarted the system, it would lock up at the same spot. Any suggestions?

Which card are you removing ? Is it a raid controller card, also have you added anything new lately since this problem has arisen

I figured out the problem last night. It turns out that one of the on-board SCSI ports blew. I disabled it and moved the devices to a SCSI card and it worked fine.
