I have an application that was developed in Access 2000. I modified the Setup.bas visual basic program to customize the install location and include some additional conversions that I needed for updates. I did this because I have a wide range of users installing this program and I attempted to make it as idiot-proof as possible since I won't be present during the installation.

The question is, can I do exactly the same for Access 2010? I don't even have Visual Studio installed on my new computer (Windows 7 Professional). Do I need it? If I can indeed use the modified Setup.bas program, where should I put the compiled program?

Thanks in advance.

Did I put this in the wrong place?
