PDT Access to FTP

Strange problem,

It seems my PDT user does not have access to FTP on my CS1000E. PDT1 & PDT2 users have FTP access.

I can log into the SS just fine with PDT, PDT1 & PDT2 users, I just can not seem to open an FTP session with the CS1000E using the PDT username.

Is there a flag or something I need to check to make sure my PDT user can login to my CS1000E via FTP?

I'm not sure the VxWorks system supports FTP. Are you trying to upload patches?

Working on Corporate Directory.

VxWorks supports FTP via the PDT class users. For some reason on my CS1000E, my PDT user can not access ftp. And with PDT not being able to access FTP, I can not use TM's automation of the corporate directoy upload.

1. PDT user can NOT access FTP.
2. PDT1 user CAN access FTP as a Guest User with no write privleges.
3. PDT2 user CAN access FTP with full control.

The Filesystem in my CS1000E v5 is owned by PDT2 User.
The Filesystem in my CS1000M v4.5 is owned by PDT User.

i have no problems to connect to the call server with the PDT2 user.
Can you log in to the Callserver and it shows no directorys?

PDT user can not access FTP.

PDT2 does just fine, but PDT2 isn't part of the TM's Corporate Directory automated upload process.

FTP Write is restricted to the PDT2 username as the files/directory owner. You can change the PDT2 account name if you wish, but only the associated PDT@ account username can FTP. PDT access on a LAPW will not allow FTP.
