I'm usually able to edit a pdf in corel 3X but not with this file. It says Import error....file is corrupted.
The actual file opens up perfectly in pdf reader and it is not locked. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do? My client needs me to open it for him to do some editing, any help will be gretaly appreciated.

My only solution has been to use Adobe Readers capture tool (looks like a camera) then paste that into the document and edit the portions that I can - then re-export the whole document as a new PDF. This works well if it is combination of text and images. If the whole file is an image, you might ask your client to try another file type (EPS, TIFF, etc)

Thank You, but the quality is very unclear. Any suggestions?

You could try to resample the bitmap to 300 dpi. If you are unable to make any improvements, and this is one of the things I feared from the outset, it may be something in the settings from your client. You may have to ask them to save it as an editable PDF or as a high resolution PDF. It is possible there is something in your settings that is down-sampling it, but check in your bitmap settings and see if you find anything that would cause it to reduce the dpi. Sometimes you will get a dialogue box on import asking you how to handle bitmap resolution.
