I have read lot of messages in this group, but could not get my job done.

I am using Impromptu to generate a report into .pdf file. But this file is 500KB. But if I opne he same pdf using acrobat reader & print it to distller, cutting down all the unncessary fonts, I could reduce this file to 100KB. I desperately want to automate this thru VB, where I have ohter part automated.

I have PDF writer, reader & distiller installed, along with VB. Here are the things that I am looking at.

Open the PDF reader or writer.
Open the .pdf that I want to print.
Make distiller as my printer.
set the joboptions to *LeanOptions*
And print the .pdf to a new file *success.pdf* using distller as my printer, answering all the prompts.

I have seen several people claiming that they got it worked. But I couldnt. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!
