Hello colleagues!

I had created a report in VFP 9, which I designed some pre-defined boxes and prints data.
For example:

If I send to a printer, it prints OK...
_________________________________________________________
| Aug 31, 2016 | John Doe | Los Angeles | CA |
|________________|_____________|___________________|_____|

... but if I "print" in PDF Creator, it shows in VFP preview report screen like this:
(and when printing it is also bad)
______________________________________
| Aug 31, 2016| John Doe Los| Angeles CA
|_____________|_________|________|___|

The text is in the correct position, but the pre-defined boxes (which I designed in the form) are smaller than the real sizes

I have 2 PCs, both with Windows 7 Ultimate and PDF Creator. In one PC machine it shows and prints PDF well! But in the other it prints that bad.

How to solve this problem in that machine ?

Thank you,

Hi Olaf!

The command for my report is:
REPORT FORM BOLE3BBR TO PRINTER PROMPT PREVIEW

In spite of that, I would change the default print in both computers, just for the preview. Of course the user will be able to choose another printer, because of the above command.

Thank you,

The user should be prompted before even showing the preview, therefore as I said...don't PROMPT for a printer. Give users a menu item for setting the printer and only do SET PRINTER TO NAME GETPRINTER().

Bye, Olaf.

Hello Mike!

Mike said:
... but first try my earlier suggesting of making the OLE control the same width as the image

I did this and changed "Clip contents" to "Scale contents, fill the frame" in Properties and the report works fine now, thank you..

Later, I will change the image to shape controls, as you advised me.

Thank you,
SitesMasstec

Good. Delighted that it works at last.

Later, I will change the image to shape controls

Despite what I said earlier about preferring shape controls over an image, I'd be tempted to leave it alone now that it is working. But it's up to you, of course.

Mike
