Hi,
I have a friend who's made a pdf for their website. If you just open the file, it opens with no problem. When they link to it on their website and IE or Firefox users try opening it, Acrobat opens and gives an error message that "Adobe Acrobat has encountered a problem and needs to close". In Opera you can click the link and open the file with no problem.
Is this file corrupt? They are using Word and creating the PDF. I took the Word doc, opened it Open Office (.odt - some of the images didn't show) and made a pdf. The file worked fine everywhere. Could it be a font or image, or her conversion? Why would it work if just opened but not via IE or Firefox?
Thanks!
