PDF cannot be read.....??

Hi, using WIN xp, adobe professional 8.0

When I make a pdf, I've always been able to drag my mouse over whatever text and pick it up (drag it or copy it) to work docoument.

Now I can't.......when I am on a page, the hand tool is active , text cannot be picked up.


Wonder why, what turned off???

Tools menu/basic/selection/text.

To make things easier in the future, go to view menu/toolbars and select Basic and Advanced editing.

Using OSX 10.3.9 & 10.4.11 on a G4, G5 & Intel Macbook
