Hello,

When I view a PDF file from livelink, I want to note the user name and the date in the footer of the document. I want to do the same operation when I download the document. Somebody can help me.

Thanks

Ludovic

Ludovic,
when you say username and date, do you mean the username of the person who opened the PDF or the username of the person who created the PDF, is the date the date the PDF was created or the current date ? What is the benefit of this data ?

It's the name of the person who opened the PDF and the current date. The benefit of this data is the security. I want to know who print a document and when.

Would you not be better looking at the Audit Trail in LL which will show you who has opened the document ?

As for displaying the login name and date on the PDF as it is displayed or printed, this sounds like you'd have to work with some Adobe libraries rather than anything in LL.

However, I am aware that there are some Livelink security tools which will do something similar, see as a starting point.
