PDC has died!

I want to promote one of our BDC to take over but when i go int Server manager it does not allow me to do it.
How can i promote a BDC when there is no PDC present??

Is it a PURE NT4 domain controller environment? If so all you should have to do is highlight one of the BDC's and choose the pulldown menu choose to promote it.

If you are running a Win200x/NT4 MIXED mode Active Directory environment, thats a different story.

Agree with other POST, but there is a registry hack for this too. If you can't get it to work and it is not Active Directory, let me know and I'll hunt it down.
